Nathan Ryan Harrison was born on September 21, 1990 to proud parents, James & Sheila Harrison. He attended high school at James Martin High School in Arlington, TX and later transferred to Rio Vista High School, where he spent his junior and senior years playing on the varsity baseball team. Nathan was passionate about baseball and was an outstanding pitcher and catcher. He traveled all over the U.S., playing in several World Series events during his baseball career. Nathan would have graduated in May of 2009 and planned on attending Sam Houston State. Nathan's life was tragically cut short as a result of a motorcycle accident and he left this earth on May 4, 2009. He touched everyone he knew and will long be remembered and loved.

The NRH Scholarship will be awarded to eligible Rio Vista High School students who meet specified criteria in the areas of academics and financial need. It is our hope that as development and fundraising efforts continue, the NRH Scholarship will be awarded to deserving students all over the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and that Nathan's name will live on by helping others fulfill their dreams.
